Wally Loves Artemis

Robin knew it was only a matter of time before Wally lost his mind

Artemis was taken right in front of their eyes. Robin knew Wally felt helpless as they took her

He and Aqualad struggled to keep up with him. He was going faster than both of them had ever seen him run.

They soon reached a warehouse-a big one

Wally had his hands around a guard's neck, trying to choke out answers. "Where is she?!" he yelled. "In the building" the guard croaked. Wally dropped him and zoomed inside

Robin and Aqualad exchanged glances. "Is this what love on Earth is like?" Aqualad innocently asked

Robin breathed heavily

"Well.. kind of" he replied.

Wally's thoughts were soon taking over as he ran through the building. He regretting yelling at Artemis before the mission. "This is so my fault. I'm so sorry Artemis" he said to himself

He could only imagine what she was feeling right now. Alone. Helpless. Confused. Angry. Much of what he's feeling right at this moment

He ran as fast as he could and knocked down every guard standing in his way. In the distance, he saw Sportsmaster and Cheshire getting away

But he didn't care. All he cared about was seeing Artemis again. And that's what drove him to keep looking. He would burst in every single room in this building if he had to

Wally heard anguished sobs as he ran past one room. He skidded to a stop and ran back to it. Wally burst into the room, sending debris flying everywhere

"Artemis?!"

Artemis hated being held captive. It drove her nuts, being held in a room with nothing else inside

She tried shooting every single bombing arrow at the walls and the door. But it was useless. None of her arrows worked

All her anger gathered up and came out of her eyes as tears. She hugged her knees and cried into them

"I'm sorry Wally" she whispered. She hated that she argued with him right before the mission. "Please. Please come save me" she said softly

Suddenly, a large BOOM shook her. The door was kicked down and pebbles were flying everywhere. Artemis felt strong arms wrap around her and carry her onto his lap

She opened her eyes, seeing those piercing green eyes. "Wally?" she asked

"Artemis I'm so sorry, I can't believe I let this happen I-"

Wally's mouth was suddenly too busy to keep talking. Artemis didn't care what he had done or caused. He was here, his arms wrapped around her and that's what mattered to her

She locked her lips onto his, placing an arm around his neck. Her held her close, never wanting to let her go. No matter how many arguments he had with her, his heart beat louder than any of the shouts they spat out

Wally drew back from the kiss, both breathing heavily

"We just kissed" he said absentmindedly

Artemis laughed softly. "I figured, you took so long to come get me, I shouldn't kiss you. But I felt sorry for you and I just went with the flow" she smirked

His lips curved into a smile and then he let out a laugh. "Will you feel sorry for me again? Go with the flow" Wally asked

Artemis smiled, put an arm around his neck and pulled him close. "I guess luck's on your side today" she whispered. "No kidding" he replied

He leaned in and placed his lips on hers. They heard footsteps behind them but ignored it, still going with the flow

"Earth love may be tough, Kaldur. But it has it's ways of making people happy" Robin said softly, not wanting to interrupt the moment. Kaldur smiled and nodded at Robin

They walked away, leaving Artemis and Wally to their buisness
